Elizabeth Thipphawong is a photographer from Northern Ontario. A recent Trent grad, Thipphawong has continued to maintain a relationship with the university working as an events photographer for the Indigenous Studies Department. The majority of her photographs currently being exhibited have been taken from events hosted by the department. Her identity as an Indigenous Lao person has informed how she approaches her work and the meaning she draws from the pieces.
